Marketing Internship with Grab!

Part-time Internship with GrabRentals Jan~June 2025

Towards the start of my Junior year (Year 3) in University, I challenged myself to take on a part-time internship with Grab while managing a full academic load of four modules. Balancing both commitments pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it strengthened my resilience, time management, and ability to perform under pressure.

During my internship, I worked with the GrabRentals team under Grab Operations, where I was entrusted with both digital and on-ground marketing responsibilities. I was in charge of developing and managing the GrabRentals WordPress site (HTML & CSS), creating social media content across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, handling video editing, crafting in-app communications, and supporting campaign copywriting and planning.

 

Beyond digital marketing, I was also involved in on-site marketing activations, including the GrabRentals Test-Drive Campaign and other ad-hoc events. I contributed to the preparation and launch of major campaigns such as the BYD x GrabRentals EV Campaign and GrabCab, gaining firsthand experience in integrated campaign execution from strategy to ground activation. This internship allowed me to bridge academic knowledge with real-world execution, transforming ideas into campaigns that drove awareness, engagement, and impact.
