After graduating from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Marketing with Merit, I decided to hit pause and dive into what turned out to be an unexpectedly wild ride: a gap year right smack in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of jumping straight into university, I thought that it would be much more fulfilling to gain some real-world work experience. So, I rolled up my sleeves and dove headfirst into the workforce.

 

It wasn't always smooth sailing, but navigating through the pandemic's twists and turns taught me more than any textbook ever could. From odd jobs to unexpected opportunities, my gap year was a crash course in adaptability and resilience, setting me up for whatever comes next – university included!
